Alex Soler i Prat

Alex received a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) - ETSEIB in Barcelona in 2021. He then completed a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Energy at the same university in Barcelona in 2023. During his master's studies, he joined CITCEA as a research intern, where he developed a Python tool to solve AC Optimal Power Flow (ACOPF) problems for Energy Management Systems. After finishing his studies, he worked as a PV Data Analyst intern at Green Power Monitor - DNV and then as an Optimization Engineer at Decide-Soluciones. In March 2025, he joined eRoots as an Optimization Engineer.
